Sahanoda Foundation organized a trip to Colombo at the request of the indigenous children. At the end of the three-day tour to visit special places, veteran artists Nanda Malani, Edward Jayakodi, Charitha Priyadarshani and the then Deputy Ministers A.V. Suraweera and Jeevan Kumaratunga hosted a cultural show at the Maharagama Youth Theater and presented them with gifts.
